November is National Family Caregivers Month
“Caregiving Around the Clock” is the 2022 theme for National Caregivers Month and if you are a caregiver, you know there has never been a truer statement.
During the month of November, Refuge: A Caregivers Support Ministry will celebrate caregivers by providing information beneficial to all caregivers, educating you about the ministry and answering any questions or concerns you may have. There will be a representative from the ministry at both locations, each Sunday in November so make sure you stop by!
Refuge has been in existence for about three years and has sponsored 2 conferences since their inception. The purpose of the ministry is, to be a place of refuge where you can receive emotional, spiritual and educational support as a caregiver as you manage the lives of those unable to do so themselves”.
The mission statement is, to support the caregivers of Providence by providing beneficial and timely information that will improve their caregiving skills, assist in maintaining their own health and at the same time be a refuge for encouragement, comfort and love”.
During the prayer meeting, hosted by the Pastor’s Prayer Partners Ministry on Friday, November 18, 2022, in support of caregivers, the entire hour will be dedicated to praying for their needs and to be an encouragement.
